Repurposing the High Street

OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS

We’re offering grants for businesses that take on empty commercial premises in the town centre to help them with the costs of fitting them out and buying essential equipment.

Flexible Work Space Project

OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS

The scheme is offering grants from £25,000 up to £100,000 to landlords/leaseholders to refurbish vacant or under-utilised property into flexible co-working spaces.Grant recipients must therefore make at least a £75,000 contribution toward total costs to be able to receive a grant of £25,000 or at least £300,000 to be able to receive a grant of £100,000.

Sustainable Inclusive Growth

OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS

This scheme is offering grants from £1,000 up to a maximum of £10,000 per eligible business to support businesses to invest in new equipment, technology, and business practices to decarbonise their operations, become more energy efficient and improve productivity to drive employment growth and to support long-term sustainability.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills. Cheshire East Council (CEC) is the lead authority for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) in Cheshire East. It has overall accountability for how the Fund is administered in the borough.
